There are health insurance carriers who have decided to become very competitive with their rates in Texas for individuals. In addition, because of new legislation from the Federal Government, Employers are allowed to pay for health insurance for individuals instead of it having to be a group. The result is between 40 – 65% savings for small groups (5- 50 lives). The savings for individuals is between 20 – 40%.
